Civil Marriage Rights
In January, 2007, 63 House and Senate members voted (or did not vote at all) to put the civil marriage rights of same sex couples at risk. They did this by supporting a popular vote to amending the Massachusetts Constitution, and enshrine discrimination in the world's oldest constitution.Those risking changes to the Massachusetts Constitution are listed below. Contact your legislators and tell them how you feel about how they voted – whether for or against risking changes to our Constitution.
