With a Masters degree from Boston College, Kyle began his career as a therapist with low-income families in Boston and Brooklyn. During this time Kyle witnessed first hand the levels of oppression which stifle families and youth whose identities are largely oppressed and disenfranchised in our society. This led to a passion for advocacy and systems change. Kyle then went on to several high-profile positions in same-sex marriage campaigns both locally and nationally. Most recently, Kyle was the Campaign Manager for Hoosiers Unite for Marriage in Indianapolis where he managed a successful campaign to achieve marriage equality in 2014. Prior to this position, he was the Field Director for Freedom Indiana, an In-District Field Organizer for Rhode Islanders United for Marriage, and Regional Field Director for Mainers United for Marriage. Kyle’s mission is to provide social justice work through complex leadership development, culturally competent work, community organizing, intersections programming, and sustainable community change.
