We’ll assess your needs and develop a program especially for you with the aim of creating long term sustainable support for your community. Our straightforward process typically includes:
- An assessment: we have different ways of assessing the needs of your community.
- A proposal: based on your desired outcomes and needs we will develop a proposal for you to look over and decide what support you would like.
- Trainings, consultations and workshops: We will offer different modes of intervention to meet your desired outcomes and needs.
- Sustainability: our support with work with you to develop competent leaders, policies, and best practices for your community to sustain high levels of inclusive practices with minimal outside support.

We will work to design a program that meets the needs of your school to incorporate inclusive practices on many levels. We can support you on designing and implementing policy, integrating LGBTQ awareness into curriculum, student and faculty support, bystander trainings, awareness workshops, program development and much more.
Our support in workplaces can be as dynamic as the workplace itself. We can offer lunch workshops, staff trainings, develop HR hiring material, ally trainings, and the list goes on.
Health and Wellness Communities
Creating an inclusive space in health and wellness communities (hospitals, small practices, agencies, etc.) is critical given the health disparities lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people face. Let us support you in creating an environment where LGBTQ people feel included by offering frontline staff trainings, policy and best practices trainings, engaging and supporting transgender people workshops, and much more.
We are available to present on LGBTQ inclusion at your conference. We can design different workshops to meet the unique needs of your conference’s purpose or theme.
We know awareness of resources is important to making sure people know about Greater Boston PFLAG and what we can offer families. So, we will go at table at your local resource fair, community event, or conference.
The presenters were well trained and adept at answering questions and addressing concerns. After each workshop PFLAG presenters met with members of the school staff to debrief, so that they could incorporate any improvements for the next workshop. They also brought a wealth of resources such as informational pamphlets and stickers. Teachers left the workshop with a sense of purpose, a foundation of knowledge and immediate action items for their classrooms. The program packed a wallop!

The format of the panel worked really well for us and hearing of the individual’s different personal stories was heartfelt and genuine and really touched those of us in the audience. I was impressed by the courage of all speakers to share their story so candidly with us, particularly the youngest of the panel! It helped the participants of our program to understand what some of the struggles can be for people questioning their gender identity. We absolutely look forward to having PFLAG present for us in the future.
